Our bodies are already equipped with the mechanism to detoxify our system - it's called your liver and kidneys. What "toxins" are you cleansing? Do you eat toxins? What do these "toxins" do and why can't your liver and kidneys process them without a "detox"? Your liver and kidneys do not store toxins so there is no need to flush them out with "detox" methods. There is no scientific proof that these "detox" programs have any positive results.
Prolonged fasting is dangerous, especially if all you're taking in is water.
Your scars will not fill in in two weeks anyway so attempting to "detox" your body for that length of time can only spell danger.
If you want proof or reference material all you have to do is a Google search and you'll find many.
Eat healthily, get exercise and let your body do its job.
